Garlic Shallott is known as a medicinal herb in traditional and integrated medicine. 
 
Shallots are also made up of individual cloves, but they are smaller and more delicate than garlic cloves. The cloves are usually red, purple, or brown.
Shallots share the same antioxidant properties as garlic, and the organosulfur compounds they contain — which give them that distinctive smell – help protect the body against certain types of cancer (especially those affecting the digestive tract)
